More Hapenings

I have a picture of me almost just like this with my favorite stuffed bear Timer, when I was little. This was a day when we hadn't been able to find Oinky, for about a week. I saved the day and found him, and Rylee was so happy.
The girls at the doctor, this was Rylee's first time getting a little gown to wear.
I have been getting ready for the baby to come, by getting the girls in the same room, which meant I needed a new place to put all their books. So Rylee helped me put together a shelf.
This is a regular occurrence at our house, You don't see the girls for a minute, and they are putting make up and princess dresses on.
We went up to my mom and dad's house one day, and Rylee found this snake. She likes to pick up bugs and things, this was her first time holding a snake though. Poor little snake, she held him for about a half and hour. She swung on the swings, and jumped on the trampoline with him as well.
This was so cute to me, it's my mother's day card. Reese loves Maddox, aka the "pink butter place" So that says a lot.
This was Reese's last soccer game of the year, it was pouring. And everyone but our team and the team we were playing didn't show up. So even though the girls got soaking wet, they played anyway.
That same day we took the girls to Kirts for the first time. I had to take their picture in here. It brings back good memories of after football games in Highschool.
We were walking to church and I had to take their picture, they are so cute, and fun, and such good sisters!

Pics from the phone

This post includes all kinds of random stuff, but here we go anyway. Here's Reese at her Kindergarten program. Towards the end of school, it was so cute, she had a line and they sang a bunch of songs.
This is from her Kindergarten awards program, where she got an award for reading.
This is clear back from the week before her birthday. Jeremy got us a hotel room at the Hotel Montaco, and we had Rylee stay with family so Reese could have a special night. She loved getting all dressed up and we took her to see Shrek the musical at the Capitol Theatre.
Reese's school had a treehouse night, here's her with her cute teacher.
We started having the girls have some practice nights sleeping in the same room, to prepare for when we made the move permanent. I think it helped, we did it about every friday for a month maybe. It seemed to be good, because now that we have finally moved Rylee down, they are doing a great job.
Rylee is starting to not take naps, downside, is she seems to fall asleep in random places.
The girls in their new princess dresses I gave them for V-day.
This pic is a bit weird, it's at kanagoo zoo, on Reese's birhday.
Reese is really crafty, and it seems like I can't throw anything away because she wants to make something out of it. So I was about to throw this box away, and before I knew it, it was a little plane.
Jeremy loves to have the girls help him in the garden, and they love it even more. They both have work gloves, and they call themselves the dirty workers.
Reese always wants to get chosen for things, and never seems to. But this time at the treehouse she got chosen to be in the little partici play. She was so excited, I had to get a pic of it to document.
Reese's school does a big fund raiser called a walk-a-thon. The kids walk laps and people they know sponsor them to walk. This was our first year, and boy was it seriously nuts. The downside was it was raining so hard all day, so they had it in the gym. It was so crowded, but she how much fun she's having? Plus she won some pretty good prizes.
Rylee was a little overwhelmed by how many people were there, and when Dad showed up she quickly snuggled down and fell asleep.
Here's Rylee on her new bike. She had just a tiny little tricycle (which I have to admit I ran over with my car.) So then she really needed a new bike.
The big news is that Reese is finally riding a bike without training wheels. If you would have been at my house you would have seen a pregnant woman trying hard to run up and down her driveway holding on to Reese, about 1000 times. I was nervous my hard work wasn't going to pay off and then suddenly it clicked! I was so excited when she got it.
That's enough random moments for now but there are more to come.

Random happenings from last month.

Here's some pictures from Reese's first crazy hair day. She was actually very specific about how it looked.

The girls getting a ride in the little tractor
It seems like letting the kids drive this little tractor when they are too little is a Deamer right of passage. He stays close btw, and it's going pretty slow.
Here's Rylee out watching Reese play soccer. Every game this season has been so cold.
Reese had Hawiian day, at school. I thought this was cute.
I just realized I hadn't announce on here that I am pregnant. With facebook and everything, I assume anyone reading this already knows. And here is how I announced what the gender was. When you bite in the middle you see what the gender is.
In case you can't tell, that's pink, which means our third little lady is on her way! We are so excited,  and especially the girls are so excited. Our sweet little baby is due August 21st!

Easter!

We started out the weekend with my family. At my brother Jake's house, coloring eggs.

And then a candy hunt. Reese's basket got a little full.
Then later that night we went to Cheryl's for some more egg coloring.
I think Rylee colored every egg green. (The girls are suddenly very into favorite colors. Reese's is
pink, and Rylee's is green, and everything has to be those colors.) Of course ignore the big shirts, that is so they can get dirty.
Every year Jeremy makes a Jo Jo egg. (to look like his dad.)
I bought the girls their Easter dresses, of course pink and green. I took about 50 pictures so I could get a few that were decent.

Here's all the girls, Kennedy, Reese, Hadley, then Rylee, on their way out to hunt eggs.
 We had a wonderful day.

Reese's Brave themed party

Ok, this one is a bit of a longy. Reese turned 6! (Which by the way, I still cannot believe.)  But she wanted a Merida party. Earlier in the day I took her and two of her friends from school, and Rylee to kangaroo zoo, and then later that evening we had our traditional family party. Reese requested that I draw a Merida, I was worried about it, and the face isn't perfect, but hey, you can tell who I was going for, so that counts.
This is not the best pic of these, because of the light coming through, but I made these targets, and you can kind of see the homemade arrows I made.
Here is Elenor bear. Which by the way, was such a pain to draw, but she turned out ok.
I of course, made Reese a birthday sign. And underneath it are the three brothers as bears. I have to admit, I almost didn't get these decorations done in time. I was really slow, and got started later than I should have. Anyway it somehow got pulled together right at the end.
These don't really have anything to do with anything, other than Reese wanted them, so I made them. And they look festive, and party ish.
We borrowed this from my bro in law Dave, which was very nice of him. I thought it was a nice touch.
Here's the little bear piniata, (I bought that, didn't make it)
Here's Reese's cake. She thinks it's so funny that when the mom turns back into a human, she is naked. (other than the tapestry that she uses to cover up.) So she really wanted my to get that in there.

She was also very adamant about having the cake that turns the mom into a bear. In the end,
I just had no more time, or energy. I saw these at Lee's, and thought they looked pretty perfect. Before I served them I of course added some strawberries.
I covered the ceiling in white plastic to make it look like we were in a big tent. And then I hung these little "Wisps" I made out of tissue paper and a fake candle.
There's the birthday girl in her Merida dress.
 And with her cake.
And with her little sister Rylee.
Somehow Reese talked Jeremy into wearing his kilt.
 What a good dad!
And Tayler apparently had one, so showed up in one, (which I think is seriously awesome.)

Anyway, it was a big day, and I have to admit that I was glad when it was over. It definitely doesn't seem  like 6 years ago that Reese was born.

Right now, Reese is doing very well in school, reading well, and something I'm extra proud of is that in every category she is judged on, they gave her a 4 rating, which is the highest you can get. And she has gotten all 4's, all year long. She loves pink, and anything that is pink. Her favorite place to eat is Maddox, or as she calls it, the pink butter place. She loves to dress up, (for play, or for real. She always loves to wear dresses, not pants.) She is really good at helping and taking care of people, which makes her a good big sister. She is so fun to have in our family. Happy birthday sweet girl!
