We're officially sitting!

I was looking at some pics of Reese and I realized that she was sitting, at the same age as Rylee, so was, so I started practicing with her, and within a few days she was sitting! This was last week, so she's really doing good now! She still topples over sometimes of course. I have to admit I love when they can sit, so you don't have to lay them down on the floor if you have to put them down. But it definitely means she's getting bigger!
6 Month stats : weight : 15 lbs. 5 oz. 34%
height: 26 inches, 50%
head size: 35 %
She's definitely getting bigger, last time her head was only 12% and weight 20%!

Best Seven Ever!

Well, we had our 7th anniversary this last week! What a great marriage it has been! The celebration left a little to be desired, since Jeremy was out of town for work. It's not quite the same to celebrate an anniversary by yourself.

Jeremy did send me flowers, which I wasn't expecting, and was way sweet. He always makes sure and has them put gerber daisies in them, because we had them at the wedding.
I thought I'd throw a few of these on here. We had my sister take a few family pictures. Which are not these, but while we were waiting we took a few ourselves, Reese was done by then, if your wondering why our family looks smaller than usual.

I just want to say how thankful I am that I found someone so amazing. Jeremy is the best dad and husband ever. He takes care of us, and makes us laugh everyday. Life is so much fun with him around! Here's to seven more, just like the last!

Finally!

I am officially back to my pre-baby weight!! Although that is not my main goal, it is definitely a big stepping stone in the right direction.
I know you mostly don't care, but I think I'm mostly writing this for my own records/ benefit.
Here's my stats as of today:
37 lbs. lost.
Inches lost:
Off waist - 6 1/4 inches
Off rib area - 5 inches
Off Butt - 4 inches
Off thigh - 2
Chest - 1 1/2
Pant sizes lost - 4

My next goal is another 9 lbs. And hopefully another two pant sizes, at least. It has been super hard work, but when I get to that goal, I'm going to just make another, and see how far I can go. Wish me luck!

Fourth of July!

Bare with me, that I am kind of doing this in backwards order. On the 4th Jeremy and Dave did their famous firework show for us. Jeremy had a major sunburn on his forehead from being outside all day, but apparently he didn't think that was enough. He burned the hair off his arm, and burned his hand... twice. Silly boys.
I swear we usually only get pictures of the kids, but Jeremy got this cute one of Heather and Dave.
Rylee was in bed and Reese is difficult to get to look at the camera.

This was our first time using our new fire pit, that we had built last year. It was fun.
Got to get a pic of shoving a s'more in someone's mouth.
Earlier that day, there was a bit of a lull, so we pulled out the inflatable slide, always fun.
Ok, so I'm a dork, but I always like to make at least one patriotic treat.
I can't not have a flag jello. Easy, but cute.
We've kind of started a tradition that the kids have to wear cowgirl hats and boots, for the 4th and 24th. I don't know if that's what Jeremy's family did when they were kids but I love it. I put sunglasses on Rylee - I think she hates them, because her eyelashes are so long, it makes it hard. I wish I had that problem.
We usually are fun haters when it comes to going to parades, or fireworks, but we did end up going to the parade this year, and I think the girls had fun.
Reese just wanted more and more candy though. I'm not sure where Reese is looking, but this is cute of Tayler.

The night before, my fam does a little celebration,
Reese is kind of afraid of sparklers, but somehow Jeremy got her to calm down enough and hold some.

I still haven't figured out all the things of my camera, so these are kind of fuzzy but, that kind of happens with night shots.

It was a full weekend, I kind of liked it being on a Sunday, because it seemed like we just had more days to celebrate.

Summer pics.

Warning: Lots of pics coming your way.

This is from the 24th of july. Heather and Jeremy had to get up on the roof, because they had a lot of parachute men that blew away.
Darlene got the kids each a butterfly nets.
It was cute to see them trying to catch bugs and stuff.

There's always one kid who won't smile.

I love sad faces.
Since Rylee has been sitting up, she's even more happy and content than usual. It seems like she can just sit up for ever and hang out!

This is a cute treat, that I saw in the food network magazine, It was a little late, but I figured it was still july.

We went to willow park in Logan it was cute. Reese got bit by a duck, because she poked it. and of course we wanted her to do it again so we could catch it on camera.
