My day on Tuesday:

6:00 am  Wake up to a flock of birds outside my window. (I'm a little upset)
6:30 am Get woken back up by my phone, it's the babysitter. ( I don't even answer it, I know what it means.)
- continue to lay in bed awake, and bugged till about 7:00 am.
8:00 am Call and ask Heather if whoever is watching her girls, (Tayler luckily) can watch Reese.
8:15 am Have to eventually pull Reese up out of her crib because she is 'still sleepy mommy.'
8:17 am Reese has a fit because I won't let her put her clothes on 'BY SELF' (Now I'm getting frustrated.)
8:37 ish Get in the car and realize keys are not in my purse. I've locked us out of the house. (Full blown mad now.)
8:50 Arrive at Heather's house, Reese immediately falls down on cement and cuts up legs pretty bad.
9:15 am Get to work 15 min late with blood all over my shirt. (I'm a tad perturbed, to say the least.)
12:00 pm Get a call from the tree removal company telling me I made a mistake and I owe them three thousand dollars more than I thought I did. (I'm having a small panic attack.)
12:03 trying not to cry at work.
2:45 pm  I run home and look at the bid, and they made the mistake not me. ( I start to breath again.)
3:00 Get hung up  on the phone, by the tree guy who I tell it is his fault- he wrote the bid wrong. (now a little nervous I'm going to have a court case on my hands.)
5:45 pm Fax the proof of their mistake to them. (Now relieved)
6:00 pm realize this day wasn't too bad after all, because I didn't get screwed out of $3,000. (I'm tired.) Looking forward to Wed.

A Fun Memorial Weekend!

It started off on Saturday, we helped Nana (aka Darlene) plant some tomatoes. I got Reese her own garden tools and gloves. For some reason she kept taking her great grandpa's hat. So, I of course had to take pics of that.
Kennedy and Hadley were in cute outfits, but the problem is, that there are piles of dirt all over, who doesn't like to play in the dirt right. So I went and found an ugly outfit so Kennedy could get dirty.
Hadley apparently thinks she can shovel.

On actual memorial day, we blew up the pools and had a little barbeque. These are my very favorite days. I love sitting on the deck, eating good food, and watching the babies play. They loved the new pools.
You got to love a good corn on the cob eating pic.
After gorging ourselves, we dried off the kids and walked up the cemetery. Darlene just bought this cute wagon It fits them all perfectly and even has drink holders, which made me laugh, but really did come in handy.
Jeremy and his sisters, (minus Ashley) visiting his grandma's grave.
It is so impossible to get all the kids to look at the camera, but at least Reese is smiling in this one.

The day turned out to be beautiful, even though as I'm posting this I'm starting to hear thunder, looks like we got our party in just in time. Hope you all had a good holiday.

My big Marathon runner!

Ta da! I found my cord, so the posting with pictures can continue! Jeremy decided to run the half marathon, in Ogden last week. He did so good he finished in 2 hrs 17 min. He didn't have long to train, and even then he's been so busy he's hasn't been able to run too much.
A bunch of people in our ward ran, this is Robert Peterson.
About half of my family ran, my sister in law Becca ran the 5k, and my sister Mandie ran the whole 26 and this is the rest : From left to right Jeremy, my little brother Ben, my Dad, and My older brother Jake.

This is right after he finished, he looks a little tired. I'm so proud of him, he went from not running at all to running 13 miles straight.I am a little bummed that I didn't have the guts to try and do it myself, but there's always next year.

Let's go Swimming!

If any one wants to come to the play group we are going to the North Shore swimming pool. (In North Ogden). We're going on the first Monday in June, which is the 1st. The pool opens at 11:00 (they won't let you in early at all.) That's when we'll be there. It would be tons of fun we'd love to see you there. p.s. they have some snacks, but not too good you may want to pack in a lunch for you and the kiddies.

I'm kind of stupid.

I lost my cord that hooks my computer to my camera. Actually I believe either Jeremy or Reese put it somewhere and I cannot figure out where. So if you don't see a post for a while you'll know why. I may have to buy a new one, does anyone know where I could find one? But I do have so many great pictures to show, which is too bad, I've been doing so much stuff on  my house.

Play Group!

I ended up  making it to the park and it was so fun! Reese and Benjamin chased seagulls around for a while. Yelling "touch it! touch it!" Luckily the seagulls never let them get close enough.
I forgot my camera but Stephanie has an awesome camera and she took all these pics and sent them to me. But the best part of the day, although I didn't get a picture, is that Stephanie let me hold her brand new baby Noah. He is so cute and snuggly, I loved it.
Am I a bad mom for loving when Reese gives little boys kisses? because I do! I think it's so cute.

When Stephanie and I started the play group we decided that even if no one came but us, it would still be fun. And it definitely was, but if you do feel like coming I think next time we're going to North Shore pool.

Play group!

We will be meeting at Layton Park, in front of Layton High @ 11:00 tomorrow. Bring a lunch for your kids and we'll have a little picnic. ( I may not be there I have a landscaper coming, but Stephanie will for sure be there so you all should go anyway.)

Project of the week.

Remember when I said I was going to do one thing around the house every week till I was done? Well I did once, and that was it. But now I'm serious, so although we have lots of things we should be finishing inside, we've been noticing how much work our yard needs. So last week I decided to fix up this little barn/shed. First off , I hope you're all very proud, I did it 100% by myself. I sanded down the entire thing, (on a scary high ladder , I might mention.)  Before:
After:

Looks a little better right? And it only took me a week, (minus the time I wasn't working on it, so a couple days.) I'll admit I have a big, slightly irrational fear of ladders. And holding a power sander, twenty feet high on an unstable ladder, with stupid hornets flying around my face was quite a big deal for me, but I did it and It looks so much better. Sorry, hows that for trying to pat your own back. Now for the rest of the yard....

Play Date

I'm postponing Monday's play date to the next week. Where hopefully we can meet at a park in Layton if it's warm enough I'll let you know.

Ashley and fam. were headed back home so I took Reese and Ryan to the park. There's this really fun park in Far West behind my sister-in-law Heather's house. They had some fun toys that most parks don't have. It was fun to see them play, Reese likes to copy everything Ryan does.
This movie reminded me of the credits from the Wonder Years, (it's just missing black and white, and film strip quality.) Reese is going to miss her little buddy.
