Potty update!

Reese went poop in the potty!!! (Sorry for those of you who really don't care to read about this.) So now she has done it twice, so cross your fingers for me that now she'll get it. This is her with her prizes for doing it : (a ring pop, and watching her very own toy story.) On top of that she's been dry for the last four days. So I think we're close to being officially potty trained.
PLAY GROUP! For those of you who would like to come, we are going swimming again. It's Monday, at 11:00. We're going to the Roy pool. (for your info, they don't take cards there, only checks or cash.) We'd love to see you all there.

Our new toy!

Jeremy, Reese, and I were on our way home from my dr. apt the other day, and we saw a huge inflatable slide at a car dealership. Reese said please mommy, slide! And Jeremy had happened to see one for sale at RCWilley. So we went and got it and I'm glad, because it's way fun. It's supposed to be a waterslide, but you can use it dry if you want. Just a fun summer toy for the kids.
Potty update : we're on day seven and doing pretty good, Reese is starting to go on her own, which is huge, but we're still having trouble with poop in the potty. She pooped in the potty yesterday but not today. I don't understand what it is with kids and not wanting to poop in the potty. If anyone has any advice I'd love to hear it.

Potty Training, DA DA DAAAA!!

Ok, it's official, we're on day two of potty training. I have to admit I was a bit disappointed yesterday in the progress we made, (or lack there of). But today we are finally getting somewhere.
This is where we have been spending lots of our time the past day and a half. Who doesn't love to hang out in the bathroom, right? I made Reese this little potty chart. It may look like she was the one who made it, but hey that's not the point.
So cross your fingers for me, I'm hoping we keep progressing and by next week I may even be able to leave my house, maybe. :)

Happy Anniversary to us!!

Please bear with me - I had to take a picture of these pictures. They're not the best quality. But I wanted to show how cute and young we looked six years ago.

Not to brag or anything, but we have had the best marriage. I am so thankful that I found Jeremy, and, I somehow got him to love me as well. What a great six years! There hasn't been a bad year(or month, or week) in there at all. I am so happy with the way our life has turned out, it's even better than I imagined, and I'm so happy. If you read this, I love you Jeremy and happy anniversary! Here's to many more just like the ones we've had.

A few random things about Reese:

1. Reese always wants her "friends" to sit next to her while she eats.2. She is very loving and gives hugs and kisses to EVERYONE.
3. She likes to skip numbers when she's counting. (One, three, five seven eight!!) I'm working on it. :)
4. She loves swimming.
5. Reese loves to help me cook, she likes to dump the ingredients in.
6. She loves to help swiffer while I'm sweeping, which is more hurting than helping.
7. She will not eat fruit no matter what I try, but she does like veggies, which is good!
8. I'm pretty sure she is the only toddler who loves green olives.
9. She thinks most churches are princess castles.
10. She is obsessed with Mickey mouse.
11. She makes me sit in a certain spot so I can watch her dance.

Happy 4th of July!

We decided to celebrate all weekend not just Sat. so on Friday we went to the zoo, with Tayler, Dave, Heather, and the girls.
This is apparently the only picture I took with an animal in it.
Then my Fam does a big celebration the third as well. These pics were taken before Reese became afraid of the sparklers.

On the Forth we decided to be lazy and sleep in, so we missed both family's and just did our own thing. We went over to the park for Cherry Days, but I thought they didn't really have anything worth staying for.

I'm sure I'm going to get on Megan, and Chelsie's blogs and see some red white and blue edible masterpiece. Plus I already saw a pic of my friend Ally's professionally made fondant flag cake, but nevertheless I wanted to say I love to have festive treats so I made these. (Can you see Reese's finger in the pic above going for the frosting?)
Later on Sat we watched half of our fireworks because apparently Dave and Jeremy went a little nuts on the amount of fireworks, and Tayler was gone. Also, Jeremy bought these cute wooden chairs for the kids at Pottery Barn. I think they're so cute. I don't know if the fireworks scared Kennedy, because I caught her hiding her head in the popcorn bowl.
Some times Reese looked like this............
And some times she looked like this.
She didn't like the loud noises as much. She sat on my lap for a while and asked if I could cover her ears. We had a fun time, hope you did too.

PLAY GROUP!!
I know this is a little late to announce this, but Stephanie is out of town so we're going to move play group to next Mon. We're going swimming. If any of you were hoping to go tomorow and can't go next week, just let me know and I'll go with you. And I'll go again next mon :) katiedeamer@gmail.com
