New Car!

Or I should say SUV, but you know what I mean. So since we're having a new baby, we decided it was time to get a bigger vehicle. (For some reason my pictures seem a little grainy today, but just try to ignore it.) It is a Acura MDX, and we just got it last weekend, in fact I myself, have not even driven it yet, but I am way excited for it. It is going to be what I drive around, and it has all these high-tech things to it, that are cool/kind of make me laugh.

My favorite thing of course is...

ta da! a sunroof.
I've always wanted one! Also now we can stop bugging Darlene and Jody every time we need to transport something that can't fit in our Corollas, I bet they're almost as excited as we are. :)

On a completely different note, they are tearing down the old North Ogden Elementary. Don't ask me how, but Jeremy and his friends/some ward people were able to go play paintball in the school, before they demolish it. He went and bought himself a new gun, and a helmet with goggles. I was proud that he seemed to be taking it seriously enough to cover himself up, but I guess it doesn't matter, because this is what happened to his back:
It looks way worse in real life, and he got a super bad one right on his head, unfortunately the picture doesn't show it very good because of his hair. Poor guy had a hard time sleeping last night, but I guess that's the price you pay to have fun!

Random posting:

I have always wanted to learn how to decorate cakes. And although I have not taken any classes yet, I have decided to figure it out on my own, and see how I do. I saw a pic of this, and thought it would be a good place to start. The fondant I used was store bought. My goal is to do a cake next with homemade fondant, and use it on the entire cake. So wish me luck and hopefully I'll have something to show soon.

We finally went to the fish farm, and it was fun. It's been about a month ago, I forgot I hadn't posted it. It took Reese a long time to catch a fish, and she's a little nervous of it if you can't tell.

Ryan and Ethan (Reese's cousins) were catching fish left and right, even though Ethan is a year younger than Reese. So after he was done we took his pole and she finally caught one. His hook must have been nice and sharp.

Peach Days!

We went up to Brigham city for Peach Days. The funnest part is that the kids are finally old enough to ride on the little rides. Warning: all these pictures are not very good. How do you get three toddlers to look at you and smile when they are riding rides for the first time? Answer is - you don't.

Hey two out of three in this one, they don't count as smiling but I'll take what I can get.
Reese passed out walking back to the car, I guess we tuckered her out.

I'm not exactly sure how good these movies turned out but here you go anyway. We had a lot of fun, ate some good food. We did all forget to eat any peach pie, or cobbler. I have no idea how that happened, there's always next year.

On an unrelated pregnancy note : I am officially halfway there. Here's the classic baby bump picture, I know obnoxious but, I had to document it. The baby started kicking last week. (Or really, I'm finally able to feel actual kicks, and know it's the baby for sure.) That's always my favorite, it makes me happy and it doesn't hurt yet.

Also on another unrelated Reese update: She is just being so fun right now. She's started to be into princesses all of a sudden. And her imagination is growing, half the time she's a pirate searching for treasure, or she's a princess, or she's making up a princess story.

Potty Update: We are totally 100% perfect now, and have been for weeks! I love it, it's so nice not to worry about it anymore, not only does she tell me every time, but she holds it for a lot longer now, and doesn't have to go so much. It was a little harder than I thought, but she did really good!

Pay It Forward.

A few weeks ago I was one of the lucky winners of my friend Chelsie's pay it forward post. She asked for a comment with your fav. thing/product/whatever. I wrote her all my fav things, which I realized afterward she was just hoping for one favorite thing. Here's the good part : I won, so I got a little package of her favorite things. So, now it's my turn. Please tell me what your favorite things are. ( As many as you want to tell me.) Since I am preg. the majority of mine were food related, but I mean anything. I will choose the winners in 1 week. If I choose you, however you have to then, you guessed it, pay it forward, and send three packages of something you have made and/or bought to your lucky winners. Sound fun, well it is. Good luck!

Super cute pics!

I know I just barely mentioned my sis. Mandie, and her cute pictures, but this time I have some of my own to share. She took us to this wall in SLC, and it was really cool.
Reese did pretty good, but she made Mandie work for it. She definitely would not stand still at all. I was just happy she kept her eyes open, because lately she says cheese and her whole face smooshes up, and her eyes close.
Again if you want to check Mandie's blog click here, or her website click here.

This one is my absolute favorite! I'm for sure going to frame some of these and put them on the wall in her room. She's such a cutie, I feel like her personality is totally captured.
