It's officially done!

Here's the before:

And here's the after:

Different, unique, a.k.a the indian corn house:
A bit better right?

We need to put a new roof on. That's our next step. But not too shabby, huh? I'm so glad to have it done.

Yellowstone Trip!

This is Reese at Yellowstone Lake.

I didn't get too many pics of the trip. I guess I was having too much fun. We ended up stripping the kids down and letting them play in the lake. Reese didn't seem to care that the water was kind of cold.
Reese and Ryan had to hold hands. I used to make fun of my mom always taking pictures of everyone from behind, and now here I am doing the same thing.
The one thing I didn't get a pic of, is a bear came while we were eating a picnic, we had to grab the kids and run for it. Pretty exciting though. We had planed this trip for a long time, but in the end Jeremy's work needed him, so I went with Jeremy's fam, and he only go to come up for one day which is a bummer. We stayed in a big cabin and the kids loved the hot tub.

On an unrelated note:

My sister Mandie is a photographer. She has a website, but just started a blog, if anyone wants to check it out click here. I got on and stole this pic from it, she does a really good job. Also her website is illuminephotoart.com

Treehouse museum.

Last week Jeremy's sister Ashley was in town and we took the kids to the Treehouse. We had never been there, and we loved it. If you haven't been I totally recommend it. There was so much for the kids to do, we didn't even get all the way through.
Even Ethan, (who's only one) had fun to.
This little school room was fun. Ashley and I decided we want a chalk board on our walls somewhere, it was fun.
You could actually milk this cow, how cool is that!
Reese loved the little puppet shows the most. I think for sure I'm going to try to and buy a pass to go all the time.
Ward party:
Our ward had this fun party, they had a big slip and slide and a little train to pull all the kids around.
For some reason Reese laid down on the cement, right in the walkway for about five minutes. She was just sprawled out, I'm assuming she was pretending to sleep. Of course when I got my camera she moved.
Poor Jeremy was cooking all the food, and then cleaning up the grills, so not only did he not get to eat, he didn't get to really hang out either. But he did a good job and it was fun!

Kids say funny things!

Reese was playing on her rocking horse:
She said: "Mom will you ride the horse."
I said: "I can't it's for little kids, are you going to ride it?"
She said: "No mom, I'm too busy."

When I put on a new outfit for her, especially if it's a dress she says, "Oh I love it! I twirl now!"

I helped her dump her potty the other day and she said:
"Mommy good job, I'm so proud of you!"

The other day Reese said: " Mommy, baby in my tummy, makes me sick."

If I ever touch her hair lately, to brush it out of her eyes, she says :
"No mom, you're messing up my hair!"

The other day I had a physically hard day at work, I just felt like I was going to pass out all day, and had no time to sit down, I came home and put my head down and Reese said:
"Oh mommy, you're sad? Don't be sad, I kiss you now! Be happy!" She's such a sweetie.

Jeremy's Birthday!

I always have a hard time knowing what to do for Jeremy's birthday. If he were Reese I'd just decorate, give him some balloons, and we'd be good, but not quite the same. I tried to throw him a surprise party, but that didn't work out. So I found a private condo on priceline, for only $100.00 and it was so pretty and perfect. (Or so it seemed on the internet.) Then we got there, they had no office for us to check in at. Apparently I was supposed to know through ESP that you went to a different location that had a box with a code, (that I should also know) and find a packet. Silly me. When we got there it looked nothing like the picture, and did not have your own private hot tub either. I was really ticked. Luckily Jeremy was really nice about it, and I was trying not to be mad on his birthday. He was like "this is really nice katie! " I knew he was lying, but it was still very nice of him. :)Well we slept in pretty late in our luxurious condo, and then we headed over to the Olympic Park. This was way cool, if you have not been there, I recommend it. This is us going up the gondola to ride the zipline. It was really fun.

Those cords are what you zoom down on, it is apparently the steepest zipline in the world. So although it didn't turn our as perfect as I had hoped, we still ate some good food, and had fun. I'll just be a little more cautious booking a room on priceline next time. Happy Birthday honey!

House Makeover at the Deamers!

For those of you who haven't been to my house this is it. Some would say that the brick on our house is.......... a bit unique. :) Well we agree with you on that one. One day I came home and there was a trailer full of rock, and I said to Jeremy "I guess were rocking our house?" Well we were, and I was excited. It's not done yet, but we're getting close. Now I don't want to show too much and ruin the surprise, but here is a tiny sneak peek. The rock is on the bottom half, and on the top is the hardy plank.
They are just starting to put up the hardy plank, so the actual planks are not up yet. But that starts to give you an idea of what it will look like.
I would have been fine leaving the brick the way it was, but now that we're getting close to covering it, I'm more excited than I even thought I'd be. We're going to have a whole house makeover. We (I mean Jeremy,) already did the inside, and now the outside is on it's way!
