Happy Anniversary!

So last tuesday officially makes it five years for me and Jeremy. Five years seems like so long, so if anyone needs advice, I am officially a pro :). I didn't know this at the time but we were getting married then because of the Nordstrom sale (because Heather was flying in from Boston so that's when we got married.) So lucky me I always get a good anniversary present. After the sale Jeremy and I went up to the Blue Boar Inn in Midway. It's so pretty up there. Jeremy always reminds me that he put Gerber daisies my flowers because that is what was in our wedding, I think that's cute that he remembers.

So it's that time again, for the biggest tradition the Deamer family has. It's the Nordstrom sale! I would just like to say this is definately the best tradition ever. This is My mother-in-law and sisters-in-law at 7:00 a.m. waiting in line. And us all in one little dressing room, just a little tight but that's what makes it all fun.

Aloha to the Astons!

Just barely my sister Leah got married. For their reception they had a luau. A friend of mine got this skirt from Hawaii and I sewed her the shirt, (don't  look too closely at any stitching because i had no pattern and I just made it up. I think it worked out ok though. I was very suprised to see her keep it all on the whole time, especially all the flowers. I don't have any pictures of Leah or her new husband Varian but I will try to get some and put them on later. The happy couple are now living down under (aka Australia) Hope you're having fun we miss you already!

Bye Bye Ryan! (and family)

Ryan is Resse's cousin who is 1 year exactly older than her. They are such good friends. Ryan has always been such a sweetie to her. The whole family is heading to L.A. pretty soon and that includes Ryan, Kris, Ethan, and Ashley, who has been so nice to watch Reese for us. And I think Reese is going to be so sad. Ryan plays so good with Reese, I think that when he moves home in 4 years or more he might not want to play with her anymore. Hopefully he will, we'll miss you all!

Reese's Birthday Party!

Yes I know that her birthday was awhile ago but I thought i'd play a little catch up and show you what we did. We had a chinese themed party it was so much fun. A client of mine let us borrow some lanterns, and we had chinese hats for everyone to wear. Reese's sign is the firepig so all the plate, napkins, and her cake had the pig on it. Her invitations were a pink chinese to- go box with personalized fortune cookies inside, (each cookie had a fortune to tell you how you were invited.) It was so much fun. By the way, no I did not make the cake we had a girl named Megan make it, she did amazing, you can find her cakes on Sweettoothfairy.com. Don't worry we also had another little cake for her to demolish. Reese's cousin Ryan who is a year older was very nice and helped her play with all her new toys. They day was a great success! And now next year I have a lot to live up to.

This year for the fourth of July we had lots of fun. Darlene, Reese's grandma bought Reese some cowboy boots, and we got her a hat and dress so she was all decked out. We went up to Huntsville for the parade and breakfast. Reese had fun playing with all her cousins, but she especially has fun with Ryan who is a year older. Later that night we had our own firework show at our house, Reese didn't seem to really care wether or not there where fireworks going on or not, she kept wanting to sit in Ashley (Jeremy's sister)'s lap, even though her lap was already taken. Altogether it was a great day.
