Grass!!

It's official, we have grass! Hooray. It used to be just covered in weeds, so this is very exciting. Now Reese doesn't have to play in dirt and rocks. We had lots of help, a bunch of Deamers,  and my parents and brother came over even though my sister got married that day. My brother came over about a week before on a huge tractor and helped us get it all ready, thanks Ben! Even Reese helped on the little tractor with Jeremy. It's so nice to have it done, if you need us we'll be hanging out in the back yard, (well once it gets cooler especially.)

Happy Pioneer Day!

Well, we decided to be lazy and hang around at home instead of going to the parade, (it was a little too hot for me to want to go too far.) So as you can see we did a lot of eating. Ryan, Reese's little protector was there to make sure she had plenty to drink. The kids all had a nice dip in the little pool. Hadley and Kennedy ,(the twins) Ethan took his first little dip, and even cousin Tatton came over for a swim. So we were all a little sticky after the day was over. But we had a nice pioneer day.

Let's go swimmin'

Reese has been doing swim classes this summer, it has been a lot of fun. It was a mommy and me class. The very first time we went swimming this year Reese was pretty scared. She would only hold on to me so tight with her head on my shoulder with only a little foot in the water. But since the swim lesson she has done so much better. Now she wishes I wasn't holding on to her at all. She graduated the class, (although it doesn't matter, she can still go to the next level next year.) Now she loves to swim!

A Trip To The Zoo!

So to finish off the anniversary we took Reese to the zoo. She's at such a fun age she loved it! I think her favorite part was the ducks (which she could see anywhere.) They were quacking like crazy and Reese was quacking right along with them. She got pretty tired after a while good thing for the stroller, (and daddy's shoulders). She made a few animal sounds for the first time once she saw them in real life, (like the monkey and elephant.) and she was a little afraid of the monkeys because they would come too close to the glass for her comfort. But she did so good and was so much fun to take, it was a great day!

Happy Anniversary!

So last tuesday officially makes it five years for me and Jeremy. Five years seems like so long, so if anyone needs advice, I am officially a pro :). I didn't know this at the time but we were getting married then because of the Nordstrom sale (because Heather was flying in from Boston so that's when we got married.) So lucky me I always get a good anniversary present. After the sale Jeremy and I went up to the Blue Boar Inn in Midway. It's so pretty up there. Jeremy always reminds me that he put Gerber daisies my flowers because that is what was in our wedding, I think that's cute that he remembers.

Happy Nordstrom Sale!

So it's that time again, for the biggest tradition the Deamer family has. It's the Nordstrom sale! I would just like to say this is definately the best tradition ever. This is My mother-in-law and sisters-in-law at 7:00 a.m. waiting in line. And us all in one little dressing room, just a little tight but that's what makes it all fun.

Aloha to the Astons!

Just barely my sister Leah got married. For their reception they had a luau. A friend of mine got this skirt from Hawaii and I sewed her the shirt, (don't  look too closely at any stitching because i had no pattern and I just made it up. I think it worked out ok though. I was very suprised to see her keep it all on the whole time, especially all the flowers. I don't have any pictures of Leah or her new husband Varian but I will try to get some and put them on later. The happy couple are now living down under (aka Australia) Hope you're having fun we miss you already!
